PRESIDIO HEIGHTS

This historic structure, built in 1899 with Shingle Style and Colonial Revival style massing and detailing, has retained its architectural integrity over many decades. This recent extensive renovation is at its root an expression of the clients’ interest in classicism—a container and canvas that serves as an expression of their personality and taste. The restrained and restored exterior serves now to house an interior that is rich in color, texture, expression, and pattern. Essentially every interior surface—walls, floors, ceilings—as well as much of the home’s structure and building systems, were reworked as part of the renovation.
