COLE HOUSE

Originally built in 1889 as a family retreat from San Francisco, this historic residence had fallen into significant disrepair, even as it was designated as a historic Napa Valley structure. Following extensive historical research and planning, we preserved and restored the house’s exterior, and re-envisioned its interior for contemporary use. Historic materials and character defining details were extensively identified, retained, and re-used in an innovative way to produce a luxurious farmhouse of intimate scale and historic significance.
